Our History
Rooted in family tradition,

Established in 1987, Luda’s Deli has been a cornerstone of Winnipeg’s North End for nearly 50 years. What
began as a small, family-owned restaurant founded by Luda — a hardworking woman with deep Eastern
European roots — quickly became a community favourite known for its generous plates, warm hospitality,
and homemade flavours.
Over the decades, Luda’s has remained true to its origins: hearty comfort food, welcoming service, and a no-frills
atmosphere where everyone feels at home. Generations of Winnipeggers have grown up with our
famous perogies, handmade burgers, and iconic breakfast specials. Still run with the same heart and heritage
